This six week class covers all aspects of dramatic writing, including short stories, novels, memoirs, and screenplays and specializes in literature of the fantastic—including new age, visionary, horror, sci-fi and works containing the supernatural and/or meta-physical themes. Narrative flow, time and space transitions, scene openings and closings, and many other effective tips and tricks that will help your story move with authority and create a vivid, believable landscape for your protagonist to pass through. Each week will include a short lecture, and read and critique from works in progress.

Matthew J. Pallamary's first novel, Land Without Evil, set in ancient Paraguay, has been acclaimed by readers and critics alike. Matt is a long-time instructor at the Santa Barbara and Southern California writers conferences, among others, and he has been a panelist at the World Fantasy Convention, Con-Dor, and Coppercon.
