 Marivi Blanco has authored 15 books and is crawling through the first draft of her first novel. Besides conducting occasional writing workshops at UCSD, she works as a telephonic interpreter, which allows her to eavesdrop on the lives of Filipinos with limited English skills all around the world. San Diego Writers, Ink is the first writing community she's found outside of Manila.
