Is "writing more" one of your resolutions for 2009? Start the year out right with a morning of inspiration as instructor Nicole Vollrath leads you through three ways to start a new story. In-class exercises such as creative wrong memory, headline news and one false truth will get your pen and mind flowing. This lively session is ideal for fiction writers and for those drawing their material from real life.

A Special Saturday Room to Write
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
*Free to SDWI members & New Year: New Stories participants

After a break for lunch, return to develop one of the three stories you started in a special Saturday edition of Room to Write. We'll follow the classic format of silently writing together in a distraction-free environment with brief social and stretch breaks at the top of every hour.

Note: Room to Write will *not* take place on Sunday, January 4.
