The First Harvest
Annual Summer Writing Marathon
Mid-August welcomes the first harvest, a rich and bounteous time. In our annual summer marathon we’ll take to our notebooks, reaping stories, gathering images, picking the choicest characters and juiciest settings. We’ll work with prompts and props, focused exercises and timed writings in classic marathon style.
Marathons are open to all writers, no matter what your experience or genre. Bring a friend and join a lively bunch of like-spirited gatherers for a full day of writing bounty.
I am continuously amazed by the energy and renewal that comes from these sessions. -- Michelle Murphy Zive
